This became the largest oxygen generator system in Georgia.<\/p>\n\n<h2>The solution<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Two oxygen generators of 60 m\u00b3\/h running in parallel \u00b7 purity 95%<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Screw compressor \u2014 EKOMAK 132 DVST with variable frequency drive<\/li>\n<li>Air receiver \u2014 5,000 L \u00b7 1 unit<\/li>\n<li>Oxygen receivers \u2014 3,000 L \u00b7 2 units<\/li>\n<li>Air dryer<\/li>\n<li>Copper pipework<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>Why a parallel scheme and large receivers<\/h2>\n<p>Two generators in parallel are better than one 120 m\u00b3\/h machine for two reasons. The first is redundancy: stopping one does not interrupt supply. The second is flexibility: at low load only one generator runs, so the system spends energy in line with actual demand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The 3,000 litre oxygen receivers<\/strong> act as a buffer in a hospital system. Medical demand is peaky, since many outlets can open at once. The receiver absorbs that peak and lets the generator work at a steady rate. It is also a time reserve: if a generator stops, the system still holds oxygen until changeover.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Copper pipework<\/strong> is the international standard for medical gas lines.
