A nitrogen generator has been put into operation, which includes: <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EKOMAK screw air compressor (Atlas Copco multibrand)<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CALYPSO air dryer with appropriate filtration<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">INMATEC Nitrogen Generator, Germany<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nitrogen purity &#8211; 99.99%<\/p>\n\n\n<!-- IESCO-MARKER-EXPANDED -->\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-gallery-1\">The challenge<\/h2>\n<p>At Georgia&#8217;s National Centre for High Technologies, nitrogen is needed for research and technological processes. Requirements in a laboratory and high-technology environment differ from those in manufacturing: purity is higher and stability matters more than volume.<\/p>\n\n<h2>The solution<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Nitrogen generator \u2014 INMATEC (Germany) \u00b7 nitrogen purity 99.99%<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Screw air compressor \u2014 EKOMAK (Atlas Copco multibrand)<\/li>\n<li>Air dryer \u2014 CALYPSO, with matching filtration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>Why 99.99%, and what purity costs<\/h2>\n<p>In PSA technology, purity and flow work against each other: the cleaner the nitrogen you need, the more compressed air you must pass through the zeolite. Moving from 99.5% to 99.99% roughly doubles the air consumption.<\/p>\n<p>This is why purity is chosen to match the process rather than set to maximum. A winery is well served by 99.5%, while laboratory and technological tasks call for 99.99%. This project is the second case, so the compressor and dryer are sized accordingly.<\/p>\n\n<h2>The result<\/h2>\n<p>The centre has its own source of 99.99% purity nitrogen, independent of cylinder deliveries, cylinder storage and variations in gas quality.<\/p>\n\n<h2>For a laboratory or technological process<\/h2>\n<p>Tell us the purity and consumption you need and we will select the generator and the whole chain.
