Bearings

A bearing is a high-precision mechanical component that reduces friction, protects equipment parts from excessive wear, and ensures the smooth, reliable, and stable operation of rotating or moving elements.

Bearings are used in virtually every industrial sector — from machine building to energy and heavy industry. Without bearings, the proper operation of a modern production line, electric motor, conveyor, compressor, or any other mechanism would be impossible.

Bearing Types at IESCO

Ball bearings — the most common type: high rotation speeds, universal use in electric motors, pumps, household and industrial equipment.

Roller bearings — for heavy radial loads: gearboxes, industrial machinery, agricultural equipment.

Spherical and double-row bearings — for compensating shaft misalignment where installation precision is limited.

Thrust bearings — for axial loads.

Why Is Choosing a Quality Bearing Essential?

The service life and efficiency of industrial equipment depend significantly on bearing quality and correct selection. Low-quality bearings often fail to withstand pressure, high rotation speeds, and temperature fluctuations — production quality drops and repair costs rise.

A high-quality bearing from a trusted brand ensures:

  • a long service life;
  • stability under heavy loads;
  • low noise and vibration;
  • smooth operation of your equipment.

We can confidently say: a bearing is the small part that has a big impact on the entire mechanism.

How to Choose a Bearing?

By code — the most accurate way: every bearing has an international designation on its body (e.g., 6205, 6316 ZZ). Tell us the code and we'll find the exact match.

By dimensions — if the marking is worn off: the inner diameter, outer diameter, and width are enough for identification.

By equipment — tell us what machinery the bearing is for (motor model, pump, vehicle) and we'll find the right one for you.

Why Koyo Bearings?

When it comes to quality, IESCO chooses only the best — and that best bearing manufacturer turned out to be Koyo.

Koyo products stand out for:

  • high precision and durability;
  • top-quality materials;
  • minimal wear and long service life;
  • innovative manufacturing technologies;
  • compliance with international standards.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know which bearing I need? — If the code is worn off, send us the old bearing or its three dimensions (inner/outer diameter, width) and we'll find the exact match.

How much does a bearing cost? — The price depends on the size, series, and type. Call us at +995 577 11 20 02 — we'll quote a price within minutes based on the code.

Do you have it in stock? — The most in-demand bearing sizes are always available at our Tbilisi warehouse — often with same-day pickup.

Is there a warranty? — Yes, we take full responsibility for original KOYO bearings.

📦 A wide range of Koyo bearings is available at the IESCO showroom, where you'll receive professional consultation and select products from a trusted manufacturer on site.

Bearings FAQ

How do I identify which bearing I need?

The easiest way is the marking on the old bearing — it encodes the dimensions and type. If the marking is worn off, the dimensions are enough: inner and outer diameter and width — send them over or bring the bearing in and we will match it.

Should I buy original or a cheap analogue?

In critical assemblies (electric motors, spindles, high speeds) saving money costs money — a quality bearing repays the difference many times over by preventing downtime. In secondary assemblies a good-quality analogue is perfectly fine — we will tell you honestly which is worth it where.

Do you keep bearings in stock?

Yes — common sizes are always in stock at our Tbilisi warehouse, and rare items are delivered to order within a short time. Tel. 032 206 01 00.

Do you replace bearings on site, on the machine?

Yes — our service team replaces bearings in electric motors and industrial machinery on site, from dismantling to balancing.
