OMEGA AIR Nitrogen Generator

(3 customer reviews)

The N-GEN nitrogen generator is used to separate nitrogen from other gases present in atmospheric air. Nitrogen generation systems are divided into two main categories: Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) and membrane technology nitrogen generators. During the PSA process, compressed air is directed to a molecular sieve, where nitrogen is retained and flows out as a gas, while other gases are adsorbed. The sieve expels the adsorbed gases when the pressure returns to its initial level. Subsequently, the sieve releases nitrogen until the next batch of compressed air goes through the same production cycle. To ensure a continuous product flow, N-GEN nitrogen generators use two molecular sieves that alternately switch between adsorption and regeneration phases.

Nitrogen Generators
N-GEN nitrogen generators are used to separate nitrogen from other gases present in atmospheric air. Nitrogen generation systems are divided into two main categories: Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) and Membrane Technology nitrogen generators.

During the PSA process, compressed air is directed towards a molecular sieve, where nitrogen is retained and flows out as a gas, while other gases are adsorbed.

The sieve expels the adsorbed gases when the pressure returns to its initial level. Subsequently, the sieve releases nitrogen before the next flow of compressed air goes through the same production cycle.
To ensure a continuous product flow, N-GEN nitrogen generators use two molecular sieves that alternate between adsorption and regeneration phases.

Industrial nitrogen production using membrane technology occurs through polymeric fibers. When compressed air passes through the membrane, nitrogen molecules are separated from other molecules: the tiny pores of the membrane fibers allow oxygen to be expelled into the atmosphere as residual gas, while the relatively larger nitrogen molecules are retained by microscopic pores.

The nitrogen generation method depends on the required purity, volume, and consumption mode for production.

Warning:

A single inhalation of high-concentration > 78% nitrogen is harmful to human health; after several inhalations, a fatal outcome is possible! Before entering an environment filled with high-concentration nitrogen, measure the oxygen level with an appropriate device to ensure the environment is safe for health.
