The challenge
A compressor station was needed for the Mousselar printing plant in Yerevan. In printing, air quality shows up directly in the product: moisture or oil in the air means marks on the print and unreliable pneumatics.

Why two compressors instead of one large machine
Two smaller machines give two advantages over one large one. The first is redundancy: if one stops for service or a fault, production continues. The second is load flexibility: at night or at low demand only one machine runs, instead of the full installed power.
This matters especially in a plant where order volumes change from day to day.
The result — running since 2011
The compressors have been running without interruption since 2011. That is the figure no technical datasheet contains: the real service life of a correctly selected and regularly maintained system.
