The challenge
For a Kakheti winery, nitrogen is part of daily production: tank blanketing, purging lines before bottling, moving wine from tank to tank. The task was a stable, autonomous nitrogen source able to handle the harvest load.

Why a screw compressor with a nitrogen generator
A nitrogen generator consumes compressed air continuously; this is not an intermittent load. A piston compressor wears out and overheats quickly in that duty, while a screw machine is designed precisely for 24/7 operation, uses 15 to 25 percent less electricity for the same output and delivers more stable pressure.
Stable inlet pressure directly determines the generator’s flow and purity: when pressure drops, the PSA cycle is disturbed and the oxygen content in the nitrogen rises.
The result
The winery has 99.5% purity nitrogen on site, with no cylinder ordering and no logistics. The system is fully automatic and responds to changes in demand on its own.
