The challenge
This was the first project in the cooperation between IESCO and GRC. The task is typical for a winery: nitrogen has to be supplied steadily and in sufficient volume, and the compressed air has to be dry and clean, because that air is the raw material for the nitrogen generator.

Why filtration is the heart of this project
In a winery, the nitrogen generator runs many hours a day. Its zeolite sieve cannot tolerate two things: oil vapour and moisture. If the inlet air is not dried, the sieve gradually loses capacity and the generator first fails to hold purity, then loses flow as well.
The chain was therefore built in this order: compressor, receiver for pressure stabilisation and condensate separation, dryer, line filters, nitrogen generator. That sequence decides whether the system lasts ten years or two.
The result
The winery received its own nitrogen source and a clean compressed air system at the same time. The success of this project laid the foundation for further work with GRC, including the INMATEC 1350 generator installation.
